We’re looking for a General Counsel to join our small Legal & Compliance team and take on legal matters across the group. It’s a broad, hands-on role covering everything from commercial agreements and corporate governance to data protection, new markets and gambling regulation. You’ll work closely with the wider business, taking ownership of your work while collaborating across teams to find solutions that keep us moving forward.

What will you be doing?

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements while protecting the company’s interests.

• Legal research on applicable laws, licence conditions and regulatory frameworks.

• Own legal matters around corporate governance, board matters, company structures and internal policies.

• Provide clear and practical legal advice to management and the wider business.

• Support partnerships, investments, corporate transactions and the legal aspects of entering new markets.

• Advise on gambling regulation across the markets where we operate, including licensing, regulatory changes and other legal considerations.

• Work closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance, providing the legal perspective on AML, Responsible Gambling, sanctions and other regulatory matters.

• Take ownership of data protection and GDPR matters.

• Manage intellectual property matters across our brands, domains and commercial agreements.

• Keep up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments and turn them into practical actions for the business.

• Work collaboratively with the Legal & Compliance team, sharing knowledge and supporting each other across different areas.

What are we looking for?

• You’re a native Swedish or Finnish speaker with a legal background and experience working across EU jurisdictions.

• You offer experience within the iGaming industry and a solid understanding of gambling regulation.

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and are comfortable owning matters from start to finish.

• You’re commercially minded and know how to balance legal and regulatory risk with what the business is trying to achieve.

• You have a strong work ethic and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

• Comfortable working closely with the management team, bringing your perspective and giving clear, independent advice when needed.

• You enjoy being hands-on, working close to the business and taking accountability for seeing things through.

• You have excellent English communication skills and can communicate clearly and directly, both verbally and in writing.
